It’s real life over perfection, so I can be goofy, funny and spontaneous – just like in real life! It’s quick and so much fun!Īre you on Snapchat? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Sure, they’re not thoroughly edited but that’s part of its charm. Admittedly, I haven’t managed to put together as many videos as I’d like (you can check out my very first one here) but Snapchat is a great way to practice and share little videos online. One of my blogging resolutions last year was to experiment more with videography. Plus, you get to know me and what I like a little bit better. I follow a lot of blogs myself and from my perspective as a reader, this is like a breath of fresh air. It’s spontaneous, raw and a glimpse into real life – much more anyway than other social media. Truth be told, I don’t believe in oversharing and am still much more comfortable behind the lens rather than in front of it. #1 I can connect with people who follow my adventures in a more personal way So after resisting Snapchat for a long time, I finally decided to give it a go and guess what – I’m hooked! And while I really love blogging and connecting with people, sometimes it can feel like there’s a new social media channel popping up every week. Having a blog means that you get to spend a fair amount of your time on social media every day, whether it’s creating original content or interacting with your readers. Let me preface this post by saying that I didn’t really get Snapchat in the beginning. ![]()
